Homework
Every parent wants their child to be successful in school.  Every parent wants their child to develop the initiative to work at or exceed the expected goals of their grade level.  The following tips will assist your child in reaching educational success and develop into a well rounded individual. 
  • READ everyday.
  • Talk about the pictures in the book.
  • Find little words.
  • Ask questions.
  • Have conversations.  Visit. Talk.
  • Play games.
  • Eat healthy food.
  • Set a bedtime routine and stick with it.
  • Give them jobs at home.

 
  • Exercise-get moving together.
  • Talk positive about school.
  • Visit with the teacher.
  • Find 1 hour to volunteer at school.
  • Invite a friend over.
  • Count different objects in your home.
  • Connect things to your child's name.
  •  READ, READ everyday.
